About the Artist
Michelle Buziak is a science illustrator, focused on creating art that strengthens her local community’s connection to the natural world. From fluffy birds to fossilized fishes, she draws inspiration from the incredible evolutionary diversity of plant and animal life. She hopes to cultivate in others a sense of wonder and an urge to protect what surrounds us, with an emphasis on the plants and animals we have the highest risk of losing.
