About Jennifer Akese-Burney
Akese Stylelines, founded by designer Jennifer Akese-Burney in 2012, merges vibrant ankara tradition with modern western silhouettes. Her 2019 Crown Queen Collection aims to empower women through fashion. Originally from Ghana and now based in Chicago, Jennifer holds a degree in Fashion Design and Technology and began sewing early on.
