The Whale Shark, easily recognizable by its dark gray skin with light spots, and horizontal and vertical stripes, from white to yellow, is the largest fish in the world. However, despite its imposing size and 34 tons, the Whale Shark is totally devoid of aggressiveness and is harmless to humans. Like the blue whale, it feeds exclusively on plankton, seaweed or even microscopic animals, which it absorbs through its wide mouth.
