Pottery was widely used in the Early Cycladic civilization and nowadays is one of the richest sources for study of the life and art of the ancient Cycladic islanders. Among the clay vessels that were found, mostly in Syros, which are dated to the Early Cycladic II period (2800-2300 B.C.), the frying-pan vessels stood out. This silver-plated relief was inspired by their shape and their depictions. The relief is made of brass, coated in silver solution and placed on a marble base. It can be used as a paperweight or decoration for your office, as well.
