Item #: 063184
Mata Ortiz pottery as it is known today was founded by Juan Quezada, a self-taught potter who began experimenting with the materials of his ancestors in the 1970's. This attractive black on black pot example was made by Reynalda Quezada, and is just one of a collection available at the Main Museum Store. Height: 5 inches, circumference: 24 inches.
