The scarab was one of the most powerful amulets of ancient Egypt, a symbol of the soulÆs endurance. Our carved lapis scarab is set between the wings of Horus, the falcon god of Ancient Egypt. A carnelian cabochon represents the sun above. The 1.5" pendant hangs on a 16" double strand of carnelian, lapis and 22K gold plated beads.
