Amber is the fossilized resin of pine trees that lived as long as 60 million years ago. Amber can be translucent or opaque and can range from milky-white through cognac to cherry red or even black, and often contain inclusions of tree and insect material. Our amber rainbow earrings show just some of the colors that occur in nature: cherry, cognac and pale yellow. The earrings are set in sterling silver with sterling posts.
