Known for their intricate patterning the Shipibo people of the Amazon basin translate stories of creation, traditional folk lore and visions of the cosmos in their ceramics and textiles. This handsome bowl, made by artist Celia Vasquez, features a secret chamber in the bottom that houses pebbles which rattle when the bowl is gently shaken.
