Delbert Buck Bronco Riders

Delbert Buck Bronco Riders

Item #: 058822
Navajo folk artist, Delbert Buck, was inspired as a child to begin carving the everyday things he saw around him in New Mexico. He was encouraged by his family, and using simple tools, and moved by the sights at the rodeo, he developed a unique style featuring Navajo cowboys and their pets often in familiar rodeo activities. Here a Navajo man and his friendly sheep ride a bucking bronco.

Painted wood, leather, horse hair, sheep skin and heavy paper.
17" high.
