To ancient Egyptians, the scarab was a symbol of the human soulÆs endurance. This double-strand necklace is made of round amethyst beads accented with onyx, aventurine, carnelian, and gold-plated beads. The gold-plated scarab pendant measures 3/4" long. The necklace measures 17" long and is fastened by a "fish hook" safety clasp.
