Hopi Dangle Earrings

Hopi Dangle Earrings

Item #: 102293
Hopi silversmithing uses the technique of overlay, where two of silver are fused together to created depth in the design. The top layer is first cut out, and then the bottom layer is usually oxidized and worked further to produce rich textures. Noted Hopi artist, Floyd Lomakuyvaya, combines the traditions of his people with creativity and skill to produce his jewelry for us. The quality of his work is unmistakable in these French wire earrings.

Each measures approximately 1 +" long.
