Guatemalan Cloth By the Yard

Guatemalan Cloth By the Yard

Item #: 106185
The ancient labor-intensive process of making ikat fabric can be found throughout cultures in Asia and Central and South America. The technique involves dying bundles of threads before weaving them by hand into patterns. Our 36 inch wide 100% cotton fabric from Guatelmala features a traditional ikat style of multi-colored dyed warp, and is backed with a layer of knit cotton stabilizer for extra durability.
